Chemical Properties：white powder with melting point of 1477°C and boiling point 2460°C.stable in air, soluble in hot hydrochloric acid, insoluble in hydrofluoric acid, ethanol or propanone. It decomposes in strong acid. Strontium fluoride is made of hydrofluoric acid & strontium carbonate.
